Janani is from Mumbai, India. She did her undergraduate studies in visual communication and digital design, and graduate studies in art direction and brand design from Ecole Intuit Lab.
After gaining industry experience in Mumbai, she moved to Paris to further pursue her education. She graduated in May 2020 from the Paris College of Art with an MA in Design for Social Impact.
Janani is passionate about causes in mental health and children’s welfare. She aims to find ways to use her design education for positive societal change in her country.
Her work experience has been in advertising and design agencies in Mumbai and Paris - Publicis, W&Cie, OPEN Strategy and Design, Ogilvy, and Stirrup Communications. Her independent clientele ranges from brands in food and beverage, education, and non-profit organisations. She seeks opportunities to collaborate with people to enhance her know-how of various sectors and needs. She is currently associated with Landor, working as a Senior Designer in the Global Design Studio. She aspires to continue learning each day and add more value to her craft.
